This Privacy Policy applies to mlbroofingnc.com, our online forms, our phone and text communications, and the information we gather during inspections and projects.

By using this website or requesting service from us, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, information about your property that we need in order to do roofing work, and a small amount of technical information collected automatically by this website.

• Property addresses — the service address, and the mailing address when it differs.
• Inspection requests — the date and time you request, access notes, and the reason for your request.
• Roof information — roof age, materials, slope, layers, ventilation, decking condition, measurements, drone or ladder inspection notes, and identified damage.
• Insurance information — carrier name, claim number, adjuster contact, policy scope documents, and settlement paperwork you choose to share with us.
• Financing information — the fact that you requested financing and the status returned to us by the lender. We do not collect or store your Social Security number, full credit report, or bank credentials; those go directly to the third-party lender.
• Uploaded photos and documents — photos of damage, invoices, project numbers, and warranty paperwork you submit through our forms.
• Payment records — invoice, deposit, and balance history. Card and ACH details are handled by our payment processor, not stored on our servers.
• Website technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed.

We share your information only with parties who help us complete work you have asked for, and only to the extent needed:

• Your insurance carrier and adjuster, when you ask us to assist with a claim.

• Shingle and material manufacturers and suppliers, for warranty registration and material ordering.
• Subcontracted crews and installers working on your project, who are bound to confidentiality.
• Building departments and permitting authorities, when a permit or inspection is required.
• Service providers who operate this website, our email delivery, and our scheduling and accounting software.
• Law enforcement, courts, or regulators when required by law or valid legal process.

6. Cookies, analytics, and third-party services

This website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, to remember your preferences, and to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics providers may collect aggregated information such as page views, time on page, and general geographic region.

7. Text messages and calls

Opting out of marketing messages does not stop essential messages about an active project.

9. Data retention

We keep inspection records, contracts, invoices, and project photos for as long as needed to support your workmanship and manufacturer warranties, and to comply with North Carolina recordkeeping, tax, and insurance requirements. Inquiries that never become projects are typically retained for up to three years and then deleted.

10. Data security

This website is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. Form submissions and uploaded documents are transmitted over TLS and stored in access-controlled systems that require authentication. Access is limited to MLB Roofing personnel who need it to perform their work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify affected customers as required by North Carolina law.

11. Children's privacy

This website and our services are directed to adult property owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
